120 kms!

This past Saturday, the Kenyan cycling team rode a 120 km section of the route, and from all accounts it sounds like it was a great day! Waihenya Njoroge, one of the organizers of the Cycle for Life Kenya trip, sent pictures of the ride and and the team. We will post those hopefully tomorrow. We'll also post the Canadian cycling team on this blog, so that all of the information is in one place. Sorry for the confusion of two blogs! Hopefully this Cycle for Life blog will keep information a bit clearer as the trip to Kenya unfolds, and as we look forward to Part Two of Cycle for Life Alberta.

For those of you who know Joseph Kiranto, we found out a few weeks ago that he will be on the Kenya Cycle team, as well as his brother Samuel (we think...we thought that Sam's wife, Pares, would be on the trip, but we're not quite sure. We'll find out and let you know!). We're very excited to be able to spend even more time with the Kiranto's than we thought we would!
