Waihenya Njoroge,Stanford Chege, Mucheru, Rebecca, Kate Mansfield, and Ron and Martha Ratzlaff are all a part of the MCC Kenya support team. Waihenya is the Coordinator of the Lari Peace Program. Stanford, Mucheru, and Rebecca are staff and supporters of the Lari Peace Program. Kate Mansfield is an MCC Service Worker, working with peace partners, one of which is the Lari Peace Program. Ron and Martha Ratzlaff are the MCC country representatives in Kenya.
Waihenya's vision for this trip has been instrumental in making it all happen. He is an incredibly focused and energetic person, working with the peace program team to find peaceful solutions to conflicts among the 42 ethnic communities in Kenya, and to address the issue of HIV/AIDS, connected to the complex issues of conflict, food and water insecurity.
