Cycle for Life and Menno Simons Christian School

On Friday, June 24th, John, Adam, Abe, Kari, Mugasa and me spent the morning with the junior high students from Menno Simons Christian School, cycling from the school to Fort Calgary, and ending with a hot dog roast and games at Edworthy Park. We began the morning with a short presentation on AIDS and MCCs work with partners around the world who work with AIDS. It was a good day, lots of fun, laughing and visiting. We feel very privileged at MCCA to partner together with the school in peace and HIV/AIDS. And a shout out to Kennedy Krahn for raising more than $700!! Way to go Kennedy! And thanks grade 7, 8 and 9 students, and the great staff at Menno for your partnership!
